Burkes Beach

Located on Hilton Head Island, this beach is great for biking with an ocean view. Burkes Beach is also conveniently located near multiple basketball and tennis courts, as well as several open fields and a dog park. 

Coligny Beach

Coligny Beach is the most popular and top rated beach on Hilton Head Island with a U.S. News ranking of 4.8/5 based on value, facilities and atmosphere.  This beach is very family oriented, providing nearby parking, clean bathrooms, changing facilities and showers also located on the boardwalk.

Daufuskie Island

Accessible only by a ferry ride, Daufuskie Island is a beautifully preserved historic landmark with guided island tours, and highlights such as the Silver Dew Winery and Bloody Point Lighthouse. 

Driessen Beach Park

This Hilton Head beach is an incredibly family friendly beach, complete with picnic pavilions, outdoor grills and a playground. There are also seasonal beach rentals for chairs and umbrellas, as well as seasonal lifeguards.

Folly Field Beach Park

Located near Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort, Folly Field can be accessed by a wooden boardwalk bridge leading to the beach and is wheelchair accessible. At the entrance to the beach there are restrooms, vending machines, water fountains and sand showers.

Located on Promenade Street, The Bluffton Room is known for its high end American cuisine and crafted cocktails. This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy fine dining in Old Town Bluffton. 

Captain Woody's

This restaurant gives a great view of Old Town Bluffton on its rooftop deck. Captain Woody's has excellent options for brunch and happy hour.

Fat Patties

Historical Sites in Bluffton

Church of the Cross

Built in 1854, the Church of the Cross has a unique history. During the Civil War, the church was one of the few buildings that were not burned down by federal troops. Today visitors can attend a service or simply visit the Gothic - style church.

Heyward House Historic Center

The Cole-Heyward House was built in 1841, and is now only one of eight antebellum homes found in Bluffton. It also serves as the Bluffton Welcome Center, visitors can see fantastic views of the May River from the Carolina Farmhouse styled home. 

Rose Hill Plantation House

Tour the historic Rose Hill Mansion and see beautiful southern architecture. Originally built in in the late 1850s, the home had to be refinished post civil war.
