We must say, being an intern at Engel & Völkers Hilton Head Island-Bluffton is full of excitement!
On Saturday, October 28, 2018, Engel & Völkers Hilton Head Island- Bluffton partnered with Rotary Club of Okatie and sponsored the 25th Polo Match for Charity Event. Patrons could enjoy a Lowcountry afternoon of polo, tailgating, and divot stomping. This family-fun event, also known as Bluffton’s largest picnic, allowed attendees to get creative with their menu and attire while giving back to a notable cause. This year’s primary beneficiary is the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes and the K9s for Warriors program. 100% of all proceeds raised by the LFWMH go directly to support services for veterans and their families located in the Lowcountry.
During halftime, patrons are asked to participate in the traditional stomping of the divots!
This unique and completely Lowcountry polo match is a time for patrons to show off their individual fashion sense. Men do bow ties and suspenders or golf attire. For the ladies, it’s about personal style. Check out these fabulous ensembles and hats!
Congratulations to Team Hilton Head Landscapes for winning our 25th Polo for Charity match and the inaugural Engel & Völkers Polo Cup! Thank you to all who participated. See you next year!
